Glacier National Park
Flathead Valley is home to Glacier National Park... Crown Jewel of the Continent... Less than 15 miles from Flathead River Ranch, you will be able to step into one of the most pristine, natural settings left in North America. With over 700 miles of trails connecting hundreds of lakes, streams and valleys, you will find stunning panoramas everywhere. Wildflowers are abundant during the spring and summer, and their varieties change as you gradually move through different altitudes and climate zones of glacial waters, majestic snow capped peaks and ice sculptured lakes. Throughout the park you might encounter deer, elk, moose, bear, bighorn sheep and mountain goats. And in the evening, if you are lucky, you may hear the mystical howl of a gray wolf, but you probably won't catch a glimpse one.
